For instance, whether you have to be artistic or not to enjoy a byob painting session? (the answer is No); What you can bring (Yes, you can bring a cooler, but don't forget the snacks), what to wear and what time to arrive for an Art class
Our motto is: “Sip, Talk and be Happy”. In a relaxed and social setting, an experienced artist will guide the class step-by-step through replicating the night’s featured painting. It's easy, fun, and totally stress free. Many people find our classes therapeutic and a convenient way to tap back into their creative side: A little bit of “Me” time to break the routine and worries of everyday life.
Our classes are perfect for beginners, so grab your friends, coworkers, plan a unique date night, or fly solo and meet some creative people. You are sure to go home with a painting you can be proud of. Plus, these classes are BYOB, so don't forget to bring a little liquid courage to help get those creative juices flowing!
We have 2 types of classes: 2Hr and 3Hr classes.
|2 hr Class||$ 35|
|3 hr Class||$ 40|
Of course we have group discounts. It starts at groups larger than 8 people. With a group like that, you can setup a Private party, which includes the ability to choose your own painting, and reserve the location for just your group. More details on the private party page.
First of all – we are not a run-of-the-mill franchise (you know who we are talking about). So: no plastic folding tables, no cheap silverware and painting materials, etc. There really is only one: “Paint Until You Faint”. We spent a lot of effort and energy to make sure our location has the right atmosphere: we have custom built painting tables (so you have more room, and the tables are sturdy), the lighting is pleasant and appealing and the ambiance is relaxed and almost tranquil.
We are bigger than most (we are in Texas, right ...?): We can handle up to 36 people in one class, without it feeling cramped.
We are open every school holiday and every weekend (yes, on Sunday too) from 11 to 6 to paint anything we have in the store: small or regular canvases, ceramics and pottery, beads, T-shirts and even masks. We have something for every budget, we have a whole shelve of ceramics under $5.
We have a Tea-Room for your little princess party, or for a high-tea with your best friends.
We have a unique feature that none of the other artist studios have: The outlines of your painting will already be on your canvas when you come in. Everyone that arrives for the first time almost literally sighs a relief – because getting the proportions of your composition correct is one of the hardest things to do, and is really crucial to have the end product that you are proud of.
Our instructors start right away to guide you step-by-step through every aspect of the painting. At Paint Until You Faint, we pride ourselves on our hands-on teaching approach. Instructors are local artists, who will walk around the class to answer questions and to make sure everyone is (and stays ... ) on the right track.
It's good to remember that with art there are no “right” or “wrong” answers. Also, during class you will find out that “mistakes” are much less permanent than you think they are …. Hint: we have a blow-dryer station to quickly dry your painting so you can paint over the unwanted feature. Plus … any "mistake" can be simply reinterpreted as intentional strokes of genius.
Our classes are designed for beginners, yet there is plenty to challenge students of all skill levels. You can vary the colors, and change elements of the painting to make it more interesting.
We encourage everyone to bring a little liquid courage to help get those creative juices flowing! Of course you have to be 21 or older, and we may ask to see ID if you don't look of age. Most first-timers don’t realize this, but it’s not just drinks – there is enough room so that you can setup your snacks as well.
Go to our calendar and choose the date that interests you. Also, there is a list of all upcoming classes. The painting that is listed for each class is the painting that will be instructed. All materials are included: canvases, paint, brushes, aprons and easels, etc. We ask that students please arrive 5 minutes early to give themselves enough time to sign in and get settled. If you don’t see the painting you like, you can hop over to our gallery and request to be notified when the painting you would like to paint is scheduled.
It’s real easy. You just call us at (281) 222-3344. You choose whether you want to get scheduled on another class or get a 100% refund. We have a 24 hour cancelation policy.
To use your "daily deal" voucher, gift certificate or promotional coupon, simply enter the code on the shopping cart page before checkout. Any remaining balance can be paid with your credit card.
The class start time is listed on the calendar, however we suggest arriving at least five minutes early to get signed in, get settled and choose your seat. Our doors open 20 minutes before the listed start time. Classes start on time, and late arrivals are responsible to catch themselves up.
We will provide aprons, but we recommend wearing something you wouldn't mind getting paint on- just in case! We use acrylic paint and it does stain clothes.
Our classes are designed to be fun projects for people 18 and up, and 11 and up if with an adult. Of course, you must be at least 21 years of age or older to bring and/or consume alcoholic beverages. For children 14 and under, we like to remind you that we are open every school holiday, and every weekend from 11am – 6pm. And you can also contact us about scheduling a private party.
We will teach a class as long as at least four people are signed up. In the event that not enough people have signed up for a class, we will contact those signed up the day before the class to let them know about the cancellation. One way to be sure your class won't be canceled is to get a few friends to sign up with you!
